intercooler question
ive got a rs500 intercooler in my 330bhp cossie, ive noticed in a few norweigen cars that they have smaller intercoolers that just sit behind the bumper,
my car the rs500 intercooler covers the whole of the rad, wanted a slightly smaller cooler so it doesnt cover the rad and runs slightly cooler temps.
is this a good idea??

Read Stu's artical in Fast Ford this month its all about cooling
The guys over in norway normally use 2 std ones welded together,if your handy with a tig welder then why not?
works better and a lot cheaper imo the 4x4 cooler is a very good intercooler u just need to get the air through it!!

20K+ Super Poster.
Someone sent me one of these switches, much better switching temps, the one I tested came on(closed contacts) at 92C, and off at 88C.
My fan is set to come on at 95C and go off at 92C, so it cycles all the time.
Using deflectors around rad/cooler to stop air spill helps a lot, especially the amount that pushes downwards to avoid going through the rad, air will take the easiest route.
