So whats peeps think a good 5.0ltr 500bhp BMW M6 engines worth, complete + box?

well a box new is 6k without the hydralic clutch actuator or the clutch think the tall motor new is 15k +

 

The 15k? does that buy a bare or complete mota?

complete motor. sump block crank pistons heads etc no wiring or any ancilleries.
an s54 b32 e46 m3 motor is 9k

it might end up being more than 15k...

 

a complete new engine is 27k!!!!

but you wont get that - you will need to find someone who really wants one, you cant just slap autronic on it and get it running lol knock control and smg are the problems let alone the immboliser issues.

 

but what would you do with it?

with out the control units and the bus networks the engine wont run.

 

It's worth 4k max but at that I'm staying with my LS1 5.7 which I bought for 2.5k inc the rest of the car!

 

Store it somewhere for 20 years, wait til the car is a classic and it will soon sell!

Sure its on the button as is, so would be offered 100% complete as its dropped out inc, gbox, loom, control units etc etc and all other parts req for it to run/ transplant.
