Maybe I'm being thick but I don't think an oil change effects the Injectors?

As for which Injector, whats your spec and future plans mate, both could suit a T34 but neither might suit a T3!?

Post up some more info

Running a T34 on dark greens at the mo peaking at 1.9 bar and holding 1.5 bar,was wondering weather to change injectors and wind boost up a bit or go full hog and change turbo aswell to a T35 or T38 aswell as injectors as i dont want to be ringing neck out the turbo would be happy wi about 380bhp tbh

What housing have you got on the T34?

For a nice 380bhp I'd go T34.63 with some Siemens 55lb Blacks

A T38 would be plenty for a solid 400bhp if you want it, I think a T35 is much the same as a T34 is it not?

it all depends on the map, use quailty software from stu, and you wont have any borewash issues at all,
mine runs 83lb siemens and is superb idles less than 1%co, and the 83s are double the size of greys.

I should imagine the oil comment is because of the over fuelling thoughts..... sounds like someone has been speaking to the wrong people, surprises me how many people think borewash is ok if you change the oil more often

All depends on who you talk to on that one mate!

IMO a T34.63 will do 380bhp with relative ease.

Is it correct that the siemens have a better/finer spray pattern than the bosch greys?

it will do it, but it wont be reliable thats the point people make!

if you consider a turbo a service item then go for it. personally i'd spend a few quid more and have some reliability

buy cheap, buy twice.

i made 370bhp on a .48, on stus 55lb siemens kit, veryvery good.

turbos dont like the 36psi needed to make that power though.

.63 would be the better option

Just fitted a .63 housing to mine from a .48 and prefer the .63 much more. Not too laggy at all.
Although I must get it set up and the boost adjusted properly as currently its boosting 2.4 bar

All this talk of the .63 housing making it very laggy is utter nonsense.

In the october edition of FAST FORD, there was a good turbo feature, from CR Turbo's.
The guy at CR Turbo's used to run a 2wd sapph with a T34 and .48 turbine housing, for a solid reliable 380bhp, without undue wear, usual 360 bearing etc, think he knows about turbo's.

greys can do in excess of 60lb's - they're an odd injector.

I found siemens run alot better than greys and if you run a t38 then youve got plenty of fuel.

not on a .63 at 380 they dont....

.48 will last around 30k miles at 370 bhp, which is around 36psi, i did two in my time on that spec around 60k miles, i dont really even consider that unreliable tbh

a .63 will make 380bhp+ at 32psi, and will last for years.

all engine spec dependant obviously, turbos genearaly have a shorter life span the higher the boost level

I run greys and a T38 on my 4x4 saph and I got no complaints with how it runs!

Runs just as smooth as it did on dark greens!
