lol the thing is only about two have actualy gone up in flames and they were in this country only....no one else has had a problem. tbh the abs recall was normaly given to the masterfit boys to do at my old place. They had alot more trouble with the 16xep lump setting on fire from its secondary oil pressure switch dripping onto the exhaust manifold, until the rework sorted it but you dont hear about that one in the media.

it is funny what they dont say in the media and how much they try to make sound better than what it is. i went to work for my local vauxhall dealer did 3 days than they said they dont need me any more. i thought cheers you cunts. i've now got my solicitor dealing with it gonna take them to court, they also laid 14 people of in total and came up with shit excuses for all of them like poor performance and sacked one van driver in a meeting infront of all the other drivers.. they've also lost a renault contract at one of there site's and are closing down one of there pug show rooms coz they havent sold any new cars this year. think there in a financial problem.

Just in my local area, the Amethyst honda franchise have shut down, the honda plant in swindon are making 200,000 less Civics a year (although they do make them for the whole world), the ford dealership in swindon which is HUGE is closing down and relocating to a much smaller site.
Seems that the motor trade is drying up all over the place.

yes mate, because everyone wants reliable cars that make lots of power , aren't atractive to theives, and are easy to insure for a 17 year old
i think the problem really IS that cars are now either a posing accesory, a throw away fashion statement or simply a means to get from a to b
i bought a car that fulfiled the needs of my family, if it breaks down it 'll either get fixed for cheap or i'll buy another one, i don't NEED a new car, or a flash car, or even a cheap new car
same with virtually everything nowadays though, everyone has bought everything they needed when there was a supply that made everything cheap for the masses, now everyoen is complaining that things are shit ebcause no ones buying anything, but that's because we don't need anything else any more, and i certainly wanted that 50" 1080p plasma that was on sale in curry's yesterday for £697 but the mrs said that we were stretched for time and that we could come back and get it later
even 3 years ago i would have MADE the time to stick around a buy it
the same goes for cars, you buy a decent one and then, a few months later, the same cars are worth half the price, and by purchsing a NEW motor and watching between 25-40% of it's value being left behind on the dealers forecourt, it's no wonder people have simply stopped buying cars
long gone are the days when you want to pull up in the newest registration to "show off" to the neighbours, no one gives a fuck anymore, or they shop you to the old bill for being a drug dealer
