Default Electric Window Regulator Problems

Hi,

I have just sold an electric window regulator on ebay (which as far as I knew was working prior to the sale). The new owner has recieved it and now says it does not work. He has used a multi-meter across the two contacts, and its reading "open-circuit". Any ideas what could be up? Is it wrecked or could it be a simple fix, or perhaps is he mis-interpreting what the multi-meter is saying?

Thanks,

Agar

Not the best picture, but the only one I have of it.

westus1 - what details should I be asking him for, what I've stated above is all that the buyer has informed me of so far.

Cheers

was just looking for details of car tbh
they're realy simple, just + and earth and it'll go
on the fiesta's its not usualy the motor that goes,
its either the switch or regulator
ask him to double check the switch
but if tried with a meter then either its went fooked(unlikely but poss)
or he trying to pull a fast 1, i'm naturaly suspicious about everybody on ebay

Cool, ive asked him to try that and will wait and see how he gets on with it.

Hes got 100% feedback, and ive got no reason not to trust him. End of the day I only sold it for £14, and ive got photos of it to compare to the one he is sending back anyway.

Thanks for the help.
