I think he left Britain too early. I fully understand the reasons behind it but I don't agree with it, especially if they want/expect the backing of the British public.

They say he's going to be the 1st billionaire sportsman, he's already earnt more money than he'd be able to spend, paying tax shouldn't be an issue for him. The rest of us have to. Moving away is purely for greed. Plenty of rich people stay in Britain and pay the tax, they obviously think more of the country than he does.

I can understand him going later on in his career, but I feel he turned his back on Britain too early.

As for his dad, maybe it's not his fault, it's down to the media. Every newspaper seemed to have a picture of his dad on the back page. His dad is becoming a famous house hold name off the back of his son. I for one don't care about his family, Lewis drives the car.

You don't see other sports people's parents feature so prominantly in their careers.

Glock was slow because of his tyres... lewis passes him as hes wide with no grip -but if you look a second car passes glock behind lewis - think its a williams so why would he slow for any car let alone two cars - glock never slowed for anyone.

I think you are actually miss informed regarding other wealthy people living in the UK, whilst no doubt there are a significant number you possibly do not know about them, the people you are referring to use their 160 days of what ever it is now to fly in and out for there meetings and fancy partys, for instence Phillp Green the Arcadia owner lives in Monaco and flys in and out all the time, so many people do it, it is a shame that there is a mentality were people think that sucsesfull smart people have a greater obligation to pay up then others, the laws exsist they work within the law so fair play to them to many people in this world feel hard done by and that the world owes them a living.

If you where to look at the top 100 hundred richest UK citizens how many live in the UK and how many live in say Monaco, the Channel islands or some other principality!! it would be quite interesting

If I had the choice to opt out of paying tax I would do so.

Lewis only needed 4th /5th place to win the world championship so why risk that by trying to win the race. He did what any one would of done to secure the championship. If he had needed 1st place to get it he would of gone all out to win.

go back and rewatch it, yes they said he was doing fine then but he was ten seconds a lap slower with a 15 second advatage all he had to do was stay 10 seconds a lap down, but it then started pissing down and that was not possible.
