Bit random this, but anybody used car parts to make/fix/bodge something around the house?

I used a couple of exhaust clamps at home today...

i will soon have a 4x4 layshaft as a door stop & at the garage we have a twisted prop & snapped BD10 cam as paper weights lol

ive seen a block used as a table, had a bit of glass on top of it.
seen it on top gear as well

i used to have a flat above a shop and the stair were too thin to get the setee i had up them, had 2 recaros in the front room for a couple of months

i have a bleed valve set to about 2 psi on the fish tank bubbles! lol

made to much bubbles for my tiny tank so was ideal to get rid of some air from the pump...

I was in Singapore a few weeks ago and there was a market stall that had converted car parts and made replicas of car parts as household objects. There was a replica of a DCOE and the trumpets were removable and made into a salt and pepper set, looked

Ive got a rare rear silver OZ F1 wheel that was on the Jaguar car, the silver was only used in the Monaco race,

am hoping to also get a v8 block to use as a herb garden
