its just a load of stuck up twats (media, politics) complaining about something that was funny but may have been abit too far but they have apologised so in my eyes its just not nessesary for them to have been punished.

The people who should really be in the shit, are the editors/producers that allowed it to go out, even after Sach had denied permission to use the recordings.

Testing the future
the initial complaints were only concerning excessive use of the f-word and now 30,000 people who probably did not listen in the first place because it's not their type of program have complained

Is it just me or should there not have been MORE shite over the fake competitions than this???
So they went a little far, the producers are to blame here IMO, and all the people with to much time on their hands complaining JUST because it is on the news - c*cks would even be the sort to listen to the shows in the first place.
I think brand is funny personally, and this will not damage him in the slightest, will push his career on further.
BBC ain't going to let Ross go now are they, hence brand was the scape goat to try and calm the situations.
As for the granddaughter, dirtly little tramp got laid and ditched, now sees a great opportunity to get her face in the papers and get her career on the go - she is loving it.

Happily retired
Its the decent folk of this country standing up to these smutty twats that think its funny to do such things on the bbc. The over 50's are in a majority in this country & you have just seen what can happen when they say enough is enough.

............
Andrew Sachs hasnt complained at all about Ross or Brand, the guys apologised to him with letters etc and he's left it at that.
The fault lies entirely with the producers, the producers told Andrew Sachs they would redo the interview the following week and then changed their mind and aired Ross and Brand, both overstepped the mark ( altho Brand dis shag his granddaughter, who is a burlesque stripper/dancer in a group called the Satanic Sluts - which kind of puts Brands and Ross's comments slightly more into context ) but it was pre recorded and the responsibility for it being broadcast lies soley with the producer of the show...it's his decision to air it.

i think it's one of those storys that "broke the camels back" so to speak, everyone jumped on the bandwagon and the bbc had to do something
although i do believe that the peole responsible for airing it in the first place should have been more accountable than ross, beardy weirdo and that fat lass who's got the sack (can't find her name but she's been singled out by the sun "that champion of morals and the working classes" as being the one who was made the scapegoat)
you get paid to do a job
if that job entails that you carry the can if things go wrong then you should be responsible enough to either make everyone aware what's going on or push it up to the next level for them to make their deiscion on the matter, not stand around thinking everythings going to be ok because you didn't know about it

ELASTIC BAND
Is there a fully copy off the show out there, ie un edited i doubt it, but read they went on to plan, breaking into his house to steal the answer phone, this lead on to giving him a little kiss on his head whilst he sleeped. Then ended up talking about jacking him off in bed.
Some comedy gold
what did the bbc expect with brand tho, i loved to read his cv
former employment as long as your arm!
"why did you leave your last job mr brand?" sacked due to a herion adiction!
nice your hired

I'm Finding My Feet Here Now
Couldnt agree more, well said. I am surprised by some of the couldnt care less comments posted. I can only assume that they dont have grandaughters or perhaps daughters of their own as yet.

10K+ Poster!!
I can't believe its still going on in the media
Maybe some of the MP's jumping on the bandwagon wouldn't mind the same level of public criticism to get them back on track
