Where on the net can you find the value of a 2nd hand van?

There is a van near me forsale and I'd like to know if its value for money or not!

search somewhere like autotrader to find a van of that spec and compare prices

same here, could never find one for pickup trucks, and their prices are all over the place???

glasses guide and cap guide (current auto price) are a guide, nothing more nothing less, its all a gamble and them books arn't showing whats behind book price at the mo.

dojj's advice is good and looking for a good few weeks gives you a idea of the prices

Price guides are useless, especially at present with the economy the way it is.

As above best way is using autotrader and ebay to get an idea. Even then, you still have to ring a few to see if they've actually sold as they may have been for sale for ages due to being overpriced.

Id look for some on ebay auctions of a similar spec/condition and see what they end on. Then knock a few hundred quid of that to be sure.

dunno if anyone else knows that you can do a completed listing search on ebay, i do it so i can see what is sold and for how much and what isn't sold at how much.
