im hoping i havent overstretched myself on this lastest house, as i had to put down a whopping 25%, which means all my spare money has gone, as the rest is tied up in the current house, so if loom work goes quiet im stuffed

I decided it was about time I stopped pouring my money into a mk3 escort and made the money work for me. 11 years done and 11 years left to do in the army.
I have seen far too many of my bosses get out after 22 years and have absolutely no property or investment.
They have to use their gratuity and pension money each month to pay for something they should have sorted out ages ago.
It all comes down to the 7 P's

Property will be bought to rent out. Then save and buy another one.
Then I think I might treat myself to an Escort RS Cosworth in a couple of years

Testing the future
despite all this, we still have it good in this country compared to many other places in the world. you won't starve or die of AIDS anytime soon or have your livelihood and maybe family wiped out by a natural disaster, so it could be a lot worse. and if times get really hard for you lee, i'll buy your beetle of you for a bargain price so that you can put food on the table for a couple of months
