I appreciate the skill required to do it. And the Balls to drive it. Apparently Richard Hammond wants a go...


But I cant help but wonder if theres any real point to it. Mankind can already go faster than a 1000 MPH. (If the Sr71 still flew) Why not try and sort out a method of getting from here to Australia in under 4 hours. Be a damn site more relevant

re The Yanks. At least when Thrust SSC took the record they had the common courtesy to acknowledge it. I think for both teams its a friendly rivalry
