Also would over filling a tyer with air mess it up? Reson i ask as this tyer went flat the other day and i pumped it up with foot pump (no PSI gauge on it) and just keeped pumping for ages as it was flat as fook. would that cause it to mess up on the walls?

Also could i get away with replacing just this tyer or is it best i change both on the back of the car so they match?

Rossco i need 215, 40, 17" and anything good really must be rated to the highest speed rating.

Rob wierd thing is though this one was orginally on the front and i only change it to the back since been back out on the road! Think it was fooked up from where i jacked it up and pressuer was on the side for a bit dunno strange really but i know its totally fooked! lol Would over filling with air poss do it?

Dont think Overinflating it will cause that damage if anyhting will help slightly. But running aroung on a nearly flat tyre will fook it more less straight away as you are running around on the rim really with the sidewall Protecting the rim from road so you end up cutting it from the inside. As there is no air pressure to keep it up.If you get wot i mean.

As for tyre's.

Rhys, just got off the phone to my tyre people and they said they would be able to do the carrige for a coupkle of tyres for......... free!!

So all you have to add to the above prices is the dreeded VAT.

seems weird to me that 215 tyres are cheaper than 205 i would of thought that 205 were more popular!
dont reckon the 215's would fit in my arches anyway so looks like ill be paying a little more for smaller tyres!
