Default CPL civic new record

Thanks to some better weather this weekend, Guy has just run 10.17 today at the drag strip, backed up with a second 10.17 straight afterwards, so currently fastest Front Wheel Drive car in the country. Haven’t seen the time tickets yet as he’s on his way back here but will scan on Monday and put on the News From CPL Section on our website.

There is no vauxhall that can get close to that on slicks in the UK currently IMHO

Maybe next year there will be though, as there is a VERY serious nova being built at the moment with the intention of running slicks on it.

Personally I must confess im more interested in road legal stuff TBH, but that civic is awesome, you cant help but respect it even on slicks

Over in the states the vauxhall (well GM its called there) lads are running 6s

They arent what I would call road legal though, not even close, but their rules seem to basically be "if its vaguely car shaped its road legal"

Just ask for a picture of them mate, it will all become very clear, lol

This is a picture of the chevvy/gm cobalt that they run, I believe this is still classed as road legal potentially:

And YES those front lights are just airbrushed onto the carbon fibre before you ask

Indeed, one of the most interesting FWD cars of recent times IMHO, get back on VS and update your thread
