whats the site that allows you to check basic car details using the reg
e.g. year of reg, engine size, colour, owners and whether its taxed or not etc

You used to be able to do the free checks on the RAC website, but they stopped it. Then Autotrader had one on theirs but they stopped it too. Probably because so many people were using it.
I don't think there's any where else that does them at the moment, they all want you to pay.

yeah; that's the 2 i used to use! but as you say they dont do it anymore - need to find another. Its really good if you want to find out basic details etc

anyone else know of such a site
