When you say aggressive is she OK when your walking her on a lead past dogs on other side of the road etc?

How many walks do you take her on daily and how long does she need ideally? In other words what kind of routine is she used to right now?

I'd take her off your hands mate but need to be certain she'd actually settle at my place?

In all seriousness do you think she would settle?

given the right direction and importantly TIME any dog can be sorted out.but tbh bad cases do need professional help or it can go wrong.asalot of people dont even understand what a dog is about even though they own them.even im limited on knowledge and ive had mine two years and researched loads.and mine are as near as damn it wolves.
to own a dog is a big bg commitmant.you have to be sure and not just have it because you fancy it.they tie you down.like kids.only kids are welcome everywhere and dogs arent

Time isn't a problem, I work from home so I'm here the majority of the day. I just have a few concerns about her with other dogs as if I'm walking a dog I'm responsible for the dog.

We used to have an english bull, a staffie and a labrador cross with staffie so understanding that kind of dog isn't a problem. Above all else I don't want to completely unsettle her, coming from a busy household to mine which is quieter than a mouse at times.

tbh mate if she is kept on lead you shouldnt have a prob controlling her. i can control my two huskies(which pull stronger than most dogs).ok not normally aggressive but avalanche can get nasty when one starts on him.and there is a boxer he always tries to go for that had him and his sister at the same time when younger.(they were on leads and he wasnt)but i can still hold them.

the quiet of your house and your attention may benefit her.maybe she is not being given the attention where she is which is why she is the way she is

I really hope Molly finds a new home that she deserves, I can imagine it'll be hard letting her go as i'm going to have to let my Rottie/Lab cross go to a new owner before christmas the way things are going at the moment.

Best of luck mate

Hopefully you can find Molly a loving new home. If need be contact the NCDL who would try to rehome her for you. http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/
They don't just give the dog to anyone but do home visits to check the suitability of the home for the dog. Hope you get it sorted for her. Best of luck. P.s. They have rehoming centres around the UK I believe Liverpool or Leeds would be closest to you.

Doesnt belong - Well done mate!! Hopefully you may have a new resident soon?

I cant really add anymore than what the others have, but i think your household being a quiet one will be a MASSIVE advantage.

If all else fails PLEASE PLEASE contact the bulldog rescue centre, they specialise in these breeds.

Cameron - PLEASE pm me! i have been involved in working with rescue dogs and rehoming them for over 10 years.

This dog DOES have options.

Can you please tell us more about:

The dogs general health?

Is he over/under weight?
How does he walk on a lead?
Does he have any skin complaints?
When did he last go to the vets?
What is the MAIN reason for wanting to rehome him if you are keeping your other dog?

We can find him a GOOD home for life if you just reply!!!!

Sorry all, i picked up the negative reply first.

Tim.
Molly is a young dog, 18 mths old. The mrs loves her to bits but overlooks her puppy like behaviour because she is big.
I walk Molly in the morning before i go to work (usually 20mins on the lead) and then when i get home i take her on wasteground on preston docks. I take her to the beach (lytham) every couple of weeks. As long as she is focused on who is running the show she is fine. A nice settled loving environment is what she requires, with plenty of time from owner. She is a house dog, sleeps inside.
A dog trainer wil be able to point her in the right direction. I havent given up on her, its the mrs.
Molly goes to a vet in Blackpool, robert jones. opposite fire station in south shore, if you want to call them regarding her feel free.
Cheers

For gods sake dont put this dog to sleep, that is absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for.... try some of the links that Maria has put up, or PM her for further details and help. Even as a last resort, dial the RSPCA and then arrange for them to pick the pup up from you, anything BUT destroying the dog.

Cheers,
Grant

you cant go putting a dog to sleep just because you dont want it anymore

by taking this dog on in the first place you are commited to its well being, and you should have thought of the long term future before you got it

the dog has done nothing wrong, it didnt choose to live with you,
you chose to have it live with you. it dosesnt have a choice

now answer maria and lets find a new home

i dont think a vet would do it tbh,

not without a better reason than "dont want it anymore"

I can't understand why you don't want to talk to Maria about it after she offered the information and help to you to re-home the dog, as you say you want the dog to go to a caring environment. Thats the confusing bit that I think we're all having trouble understanding, as you've skirted past a few of her posts so far without contact/reply.

Is there anyone on here that is local to Cameron2 that could maybe talk to Maria about this and collect the dog and arrange to take it to the relevant place on the users behalf??

Cheers,
Grant
