fair play but ive never driven oulton in over 6 years or so and that was the first time id driven the fiesta hard,i too had a few issues to contend with, but it would have been better if it was a proper race day etc ie not having to pass on the left etc
ps check your rear bumper for orange paint , nearly ran into the back of you going up the hill towards the bridge lol
I did notice that you waited for a bit of sport and I did try to have a play but I knew there was something horribly wrong with the front end, the steering was shaking like the wheel was about to fall off ..

Thats cause when his car started to go out you jacked your car up
well thats why we never had a race , i destroyed an inner cv joint earlier thats why we jacked the car up to repair it , i was looking forward to a tussle with them, but it never happened
I know i was there when you came over for it..be good if you could have got on to the hill on sunday after sunday andrew's car is sold so you will have to try beat 50.0 & take the title

to be fair i dont think the little car could do that as it is heavier and has less power but you never know ,i need more time in the seat before im going to contend it anyways
ps sorry martin for hijacking this thread
excuse my ignorance, but what makes it a tall block, is there some kind of spacer between the head and the block?
Kinda a spacer yes..... If you look at picture 2 of the original post, just above the 200 stamp you see a slight ridge. This is where martin cut the top off another 200 block, fitted it to the main block then linered through them both. I dont know the precise reason for this, but as stated above it has an effect on the rod angle, which I believe reduces side loading on the pistons. (if its a standard stroke crank, which i think it is) there may be other reasons and advantages to it, but I dont know them
i dont think he cut the top of another block?? think its just a spacer plate that has been cut 2 fit ontop of a block, then liners though both altering rod angle and increasing cc!
Much like the 3liter skyline lumps by os glicken (spelling)

Steve,
First off.. The top deck is my spec made from a similar material to billet unobtanium but dearer, not a sectioned block, try it and see what you end up with
Secondly... Not a std stroke, you have missed the point.
