Default quickshifts??
daft question but first time i have tried to fit one.got it all built up and went to fit it.see the selector rod that goes on to the gearbox.what position is it meant to be at when the car would be in neutral as it slides in and out.dont wana connect it up and its in wrong position if thats possible.be gentle as its my first go

thought you were ment to keep it in gear when doing this?

jesus christ i just read through the above link and i have built it up wrongi kept the alloy spacer on from the old unit.strip it back down and start again

yeh defo mate.am glad actually coz when i went to fit it tonight i knew something was wrong.thats what i get for jumping in feet first

put the box in reverse and select reverse on the stick and nip it up then check it,works for me!
