immy the block is a nickelseal block spoke to moutune 2day and they have to fit all 4 liners as a kit and costs £1500 machined
its a proper wrc block with large oil galleys,10mm engine mount lugs, grp a oil squirters (not ecc 4 ) and i need this type of block for my dry sump
so theres nothing i can do really unless i wana pay all that cash

What is more surprising is the mapper giving you a 9000 plus rev limit on std lifters S8 has full soft cut/hard cut control within the map!

Shitter about the price of liners ...BUT on your output you need a good quality liner although just a thought can you not put the cheaper variety in they are stronger than the original std bore walls????Or has downed the whole engine ie fooked the head/rods/crank etc?

immy,it has nufin 2 do with karl the rev limter was set a 8600 at my choice due to waiting on solid lifters but wot at them revs the s8 must not be fast enough for the split second it went to 9000 plus that was the end

Bearing in mind Seans meant to be getting Brom a box while in the USA id presume some mental power turbo V8 is on the cards IF Broms honestly had enough of the YB.

Brom,

I've got a spare full WRC block forsale if you still wana keep it YB.
Std bore and all the extra machining you described except the Mountune linering.
Its even got all the lugs, etc machined off (remote oil filter only), supplied & machined by PMEng', £600.

Oh & what the fooks a viper race kit?
Guessing a T56 with straight cut gears & dog engagement?

Good luck with whatever route you go down
