Default Advice on buying a warranty

I'm in the process of buying a used car and am looking for a warranty for it.

It's a 53 plate Mondeo TDCI, so I'm worried about fuel pump, injector and Dual Mass Flywheel/Clutch failures.

I'd sooner pay a couple of extra quid to save cash and hassle in the event of a failure like the above...

Does anybody have any recommendations? Even if it is advice on who to avoid LOL

Cheers

Neil.

Don't go with Auto protect. £500 for 2 year gold cover, covers all electrical mechanical faults. When you phone up to claim they say its not covererd as its wear and tear. My advice would be to read all the small print, and the very very small print.

flywheel and clutch will prob not be covered in any warranty due to them being considered as wear and tear so check any small print for these

Hi Mate , Ive Been In The Motor Trade For More Years Than I Care To Remember
And We Dont Deal With Anyone Who Comes In With A Warranty , Just Not Worth The Fookin Hassle , There's Always A Way Out In The Small Print , Then Your Left To Deal With The Guy With The Fooked Car , Keep Your Money For The Warranty For When The Flywheel Goes And Fix It Yourself , Also People Who Sell You The Warranty Get Comission On Sale Of Warranty's , The More They Take Off You , The Bigger The Kick Back
Hope This Helps

John
