Default Max of 2wd T3

Hi!
Anybody knows wich is the max power done by an hybrid 2wd T3 turbo with the T34 compressor fitted?? (I think you call that a T34.048) on a stock engine with only greys, rs500 ic and 3" exhaust

I have greens at 1.3bar with the std turbo and want to go further but dont know what will be the best turbo movement without expend lots of money...

regards

About 370bhp is a realistic figure. You don't need a live map. If you call Motorsport Developments, they will post you a chip for that exact spec. Makes for a very fast and easy to drive road car.

woow!! Thanks Rick Is more than I expected
In other posts i see that T34's are capable of 380bhp on stock engine specs but due to the smaller size of the exhaust housing in t3 I was thinkin it won't be possible

Yes i'll mail to MSD very soon I thoguht

The turbine is not the limiting factor, it is the .42 AR of the compressor housing at this power level, it overspeeds the turbo much more than a 4wd .60 AR and the blades can actually touch the casing, so depends on whether you have the 4wd ar size or the 2wd ar size machined out to take T34 trim wheel ?

Im assuming this is a engine with standard internals?? if so then 370bhp is no where in sight with a t34.48. especially when fuel is shit.

i did 370bhp, 420lbft on a t34.48, at 32psi, on msd 55lb siemens kit,

ultimate road spec imo,

proven on a dd dyno

i tried like hell to get more, but there was nothing left to give, 100% on the limit of the turbo

mine was low comp, std cams, swedish plenum had surge over 30psi belive it or not!, and a mild ported head.

im sure a std engine could do 370 or damm close though....

turbos didnt last too long, one a year generally
