ok, there are ads about for a whole raft of new hd channels, anyone know when are they going to be out or which ones they are going ot be?

from the looks of it they are going to be movie channels only, but there are supposed to be 6 of them so there must be more surely

 

Sky Movies Action and Thriller HD, Modern Greats HD and Drama HD launches on October 8th while Comedy HD, Family HD and SCi-Fi/horror launches on October 15th.

 

I had Sky HD from the start and stopped it after the first year was over, was not worth the extra tenner a month at all.
Funny enough I recently got a letter saying they where offering it for 6months at half price so I can't be the only person that has stopped it

 

Get one channel, yes one channel with Virgin. BBC HD that's it. You don't have to pay for it monthly or pay to record using V+ (record two programs watch one at once).

 

wheni had the hd box upstairs, i got all teh hd channels plus the freeview channels already on the thing on my non hd telly

then, like a putz, i called to get it switch on and they charged me for multi room as well as the hd service

can't fault it thuogh to be honest
