i think you will struggle to get that power, most turbo ka's ive seen get around the 90-100bhp that are running standard internals, and everone of them have melted tbh, i like it though!

Yes. As it's a bailey it probably leaks anyways And at 4psi you're not going to snap the shaft with compressor stall. With the chump v/v gone you'd get a bit of chatter too, which will turn more heads

seems an expensive way to get not a lot of power especially when its quite cheap and simpleish to drop in a 130bhp 1.8 or a 2.0 zetec, or even zetec turbo.

Lose the dumpvalve, car will be fine without it. Cool conversion though

Where did you but the parts from for the conversion??

It has not been expensive at all to be honest, all work has been carried out by myself, most parts i have got have been purchased from burton power and i get a good discount.

The exhaust manifold has been modified to take a 1.7 astra turbo, turbo downpipe was hande made to join the rest of my exhaust system and intercooler was specially made to sit just behind the grille, as to rest of parts it was a simple trip to burton power to get all the relevent hoses etc...

Have spent No more than Ł1000 on it, the dearest part was the clutch kit which set me back Ł400.

Longterm plans, well i was going to drop a cossie lump in a ka but the price it will cost ive decided to scrap that idea. Decided that when i can get insured for a decent amount of money ill go get meself a proper cosworth

DJM's cossie KA cost like over 50k

Its not too expensive to do a zetec conversion. You could have a 2.0l 136bhp zetec in your car for the money youve spent. But maybe the next thing to do would be mild zetec turbo as with your ecu and the turbo bits (need bigger turbo!) you could get a lot of fun for not much money. Think pF's project peanuts. they spent about Ł5k but havent done it the cheapest way really.

Funny thing is being a puma they just look in confusion as it doesnt "click" that its a fast car compared to typical RS's which they know.

Ive got a Ka turbo myself.. same set up as yours nearly. get rid of the dump valve and get an induction kit! mine chatters pretty loudly, loved going into ford fair haha, got some wows and dropped jaws. shame it broke a few weeks later tho, will follow this with interest as ill be tuning mine when its replacement lump gets put in. mines a T15 from a TD Vw/audi.. not sure what tho, came as a Van aaken kit

Got rid of dump valve today, and i tell you what it chatters away very loud sounds alot better than any dump valve, and seems to have a bit more go as well.
