electric oil pressure?
can some one show me how to wire one up???
i thought i had one it correctly, but all it does it sit on 0 when im on ignition, then to go 20psi when im driving.
i may sound stupid here, but ive been on other peoples whilst they have been on the move and there guage moves in corrolation to the rpm the engine is exerting.
i have the correct sender in the side of the engine, which is earthed, then has another wire going to the guage...
can anyone help?
cheer guys

Agree with you there mate. I've had two and neither have been that accurate. The first one I had on my old 12v v6 used to read zero at idle!

Tim are alright, just don't set your watch by them..
I tested my own TIM boost gauge on the gauge tester for the ship's gauges and it was only 0.1 Bar high @ 1 bar gauge. So, when the true pressure was 1.0 bar, the TIM showed 1.1 Bar. Least it overreads I suppose.
Dunno about electric ones.... Only as accurate as the sender I suppose and thats easily measured.

i have a savage one.
there are 2 wires coming out off the sender, one is the earth, the other goes to the guage.
not including the wires for the lights there are just
positive, negative, and the signal imput i think?

damn, hm, it seems to be affected by the voltage going through the car, when the voltmetre raises, the oil pressure does a bit too.
