Do shock absorbers and springs of a E30 325ix fit an 320i??
It'll probably sit a little higer as the 320i is lighter, but I don't care.

 

If you phone bmw they will tell you if the parts number are compatible to each model ,not sure though as the ix is 4wd so you may have some difference in shock thickness

 

a 325 uses 51mm diameter shocks. a 320 uses 45mm shocks. i dont know about the ix specific differences.unless its a touring like my sig then they all use 51mm struts. the springs will be the same on a 320 and 325 as theyre both 6 pots. touring spprings are stiffer than saloon springs so wont give the same ride height if interchanged..

 

Thnx for that info m8, so they differ in diameter, but are the wheel hubs between them the same? The ix will differ from that for sure at the front, but nice to know if that's the same on 325 and 320.
