this will make it a little fairer i think
that way only genuine sellers who dont want to take the piss and avoid paying ebay fees by putting a low starting price
if you dont want to sell it for less than something then use the reserve or start price
reeally annoys me when i think im gonna get a bargain only to find auction has been withdrawn 30 seconds before the end

I understand your point, Craig Only wanted to cancel cos I was selling a vinyl which is rare and deleted and would have though it would have made more than it did As I put it on a free listing day I had to start at 99p and dont think I could have a reserve, not too woried tho, I had two copies, and the one I sold was a non label n e way

reserve prices and high starting prices cost money, the ONLY people who will profit from this new rule is off course EBAY, when people were deleting the sale because it wasnt fetching proper money ebay found they were losing out, now all that will happen is sellers will get their friends to bump the price up,
i think the next tv adverts should say
" EBAY the new ADMAG"
