I've got a Sigma on my car and it does it's job, and I know Clifford has a very good reputation. But ultimately it's all about how well it's installed.

Toad is the most popular mate, and is well known to be the most reliable.
Ive actually got one myself (god i sound like a currys sales person ) and its very good, never once false alarmed

Cliffords get bad press because there poorly installed then people wonder why there forever going off, as said above if its a decent alarm AND its fitted by a pro you wont have any problems.

Ive had both cliffords and toad by the way.

Worry about the installer more than the alarm. All good alarms imo if installed properly. Just for the record, I have a Toad and is absolutely fine.

i had a cat1 cobra fitted, couldnt fault it Ł250 fitted too
i've heard toad are also very good

cliffords are only as good as the installers, pretty much goes for all alarms to be honest
