StickerPaul used to have one.
Proper good daily bus, went like fook (130). Looked good, comfy, typical mega VAG build quality.
Ticked all the box's. Do it.

I have a 04 TDI quattro-should be the same model-has leather and all the toys they are some machine for everyday use-swallows miles
600 miles to a tank and with the quattro very sure footed , feels very positive in shit weather
Deffo go for a quattro if your remapping-far better than FWD for hard driving

i was looking at the newer ones,big grill models,but they were expensive,over Ł10500 for a 05 plate A4 diesel at the auction,86k milage,ended getting a 55 plate x type jag diesel for Ł7600,48k milage.
its not too bad of a car,got all the goodies on it etc...

No mines deffo 1.9-Not sure on mpg-think its a 60l or 65l tank gives 550-600ish miles on motorway per tank. Its a sport or s-line aswell looks much better than a boggo spec
Probably a bit heavier than FWD on diesel but its worth it-well i think so anyway
The avant is a nice shape but bit too practical for a 24yr old
EDIT-Somewhere between 40-45mpg-tis a miser on diesel
