just got a price on a engine mount for my fiesta rs1800, i almost died, £165+vat. think i will have to shop around cos thats way to much for one engine mount. For all the lot its £219+vat.

they need the old mount and i use the car every day.

 

Run the car without the front mount then mate.
If your meaning the front offside mount that is circular.

Most people who fit a zetec to a non rs1800 shell dont have that mount and all cvh engines run the rear mount + 2x gearbox mounts not that front mount


Or order the part like i did and then pop to your local garage at the weekend and have the part pressed out and new one fitted cost you £10 max if you ask nicely.

 

Thus being the mount i presume

 

yep thats the one. just got a quote from a local spot, £33.79inc, dont know if it wil need pressing in yet, have to see when it arrives at 4pm.

 

barsta*d the engine mounts the wrong one. for after market £75.

 

Ive got complete front mount out of an Si I broke awhile back. you can have it for 20 quid if its any use to you.

 

thanks mate. but ive ordered the other one now, and its a long way from up here in the north to get, you dont know of any wing seats with the raven trim by any chance?
