Default installing a volt meter

best place to wire it up pleaseas it has no instructions,straight off the battery +?

ammeter went back on the advice here,many thanks for that

Wiring in direct to the battery will give you a reading all the time. You need to connect it so that it reads when the ignition is on. For example tapping into the headunit supply (assuming the unit switches off when you turn the car off).
