Default Getting Replacement Alarm Fobs - Who? Where?

Is it possible to get replacement alarm fobs for aftermarket alarms?

Who would be the person to go to, the company who installed the alarm or the manufacturers?

I haven't got a big name alarm like a Clifford or a Toad, but I really need to get some replacement fobs as one has already given up the ghost, and I don't want to be left without one at all.

The alarm was installed in 1999 will this make a difference?

Thanks

the people who installed the alarm will do it....otherwise pick up the yellow pages and ring the nearest supplier of your alarm make....anywhere that sells them can program a new remote (normally around £50 tho!)

Cheers for the reply.

I found out today the manufacturer has gone out of business, but the installer reckons he should be able to sort me out with some new fobs next week, don't know how much they'll be yet though.

oooh thats not good, im sure theres fobs floating around though if they were even a fairly big alarm company!

normally the fobs + reprogramming are ~£50 regardless of make, altho if they are hard to get hold of perhaps a bit more but unlikely.
if he cant get any then just grab yellow pages and ring any with your alarm make logo on the advert....thats what i did!
