Default GT30 compatible with my msd chip ?? STU?

My car is going to andrews 2 moro to have a full engine rebuild new pistons ect , i have bought lods of stuff for the car & although apart from exhaust studs being broken in the head the engine seemed sound so head came off & then i thought while its stripped i may as well just rebuild it..
I have a nearly new t34,63 which is mint.
I bought a chip from msd for seimens blacks ,t34,63 on stock engine.
Would this chip be ok to use with a gt30?
Or would i need to get it remapped?

It might be "ok" if you get the fuelling sorted via the FPR and CO screw, and then look at taking any required timing out via the octane wires.

Ie that way you can probably make it safe on that chip, but it certianly wont be ideal.

Cool chip, i dont want to waste the money i paid for the chip im still on l6 as well & getting it mapped means a trip down south isnt a option.
i will be getting the fuel system sorted whilst at andrews.
Just an option as after seeing rich's car in the vid the gt30 works well

you are clear that what chip is talking about is a temporary solution to get the car driving?

Carlo if your going to all that cost it might be worth spending the little bit more and going L8, im sure Stu will do you a good deal on a new chip. Dout it would need to go down south for a map if its a fairly common spec your going for there should be an off the shelf chip for it.

An off the shelf MSD chip will do you fine at that level carlo,as neil says you'll be better of with L8 too.
