right im waiting for my wages to go in , the bacs payment was sent wednesday, when should i get it .

its coming from barclays to hsbc.

thought it was all sameday transactions now

Our payroll takes 2 days. Sent tuesday evening, arrives in employees account Thursday evening / Friday morning.

Payroll isnt technically a BACS payment.

I was purely going off the fact he did mention BACS payment and not payroll. Maybe his work has an obscene way of paying wages.

Indeed, god only knows. Its hard enough to get paid at all from some companies it seems. Drives me nuts when companies dont pay their staff on time every week.

i aint been paied for almost 2 months now due to changing jobs and the missus started working the start of this month too so have had to pay out for child minders aswell as general living,,,, and i found out that ill actually get paied on tuesday,, if they make my payment late im gonna have to sell the little one im sure of it pmsl

i always thought it was 3 days yet they can do the same day emergency payment ive had a while ago but its not bacs

if its transfered befor midday on a wednesday it lands friday .
I get payed that way,and pay my lads the same .
