Default credit crunch!

seems its getting bloody serious now!!!thinking of pulling my savings out of abbey national just in case they go pop soon!!!time to save i feel!

Tbh Doug, that,s one of the reasons i sold the cossie, we,re nowhere near on the bread line so to speak, but i was going to be ploughing another 7k into the car and for what? for it to sit in the garage...

Now i,ve banked 11.5k this week so i,m a happy chappy..

Company I work for went into administration this morning, 95 branches shut and 300 people laid off
My jobs safe, but it's still a shitty start to the weekend.

ah cool pete probably the best way a quick sale like that!!!this is all because of house prices going way to high for 1st time buyers like me!so you have to borrow more then you can afford cant pay it back with the ever increasing raise in the cost of living etc!!!!!this has been building up for years!!!i reckon after christmas the shit is going to hit the fan big time!!!

At least if your stuck at anchor and do a hands to bathe, I'll be the first to jump off the bridge wings into the ogin!!

Still dont reckon id pass the medical at present! They still after poaching RN/ex RN navigators or they got enough in RFA now??

Doug, as long as you have less than £30k, even if the bank goes pop you will still get your money. If you have more than that spread it across different banks (not accounts) and your money will still be safe.

and you have to make sure you dont spread it between banks that are owned by the one company or you only get 1 amount insured.
im sure though that if he has over 35K in the bank hell be getting better advice than some randoms on a car forum
