hmmm how can i tell if i have a 2g or 3g phone to be sure of which files to download to jailbreak it?

its awesome mate it also gives you max lateral g,max acceleration g,max braking g i tested it on my cossie,got 0-60 in 5.91 secs with wheelspin and an estimated 271bhp at the fly,considering its a stage 1 i think quite good

yep mines a 3g,just JB it and re-synced it with itunes alls well except it keeps wanting to upgrade one of the programes in cydia (sortednow)

Does swirlyspace work on 2.1 yet then thrush and does it actually send picture as say a "normal" phone might?

 

Let Cydia do it's updates (should be one of them little red blobs on it to tell you it needs an update) as that will update any revisions to any of the software you have installed via Cydia - basically the same way if an iTunes App Store app you have installed needs an update, it will tell you...

SwirlyMMS works fine on 2.1, and as far as I know, it sends the MMS just like any other phone - you can input a message title/subject, type text into it (or not if you don't want to) and attach a picture, media file, whatever. I've only used it to send pics, and only sent three, but they were recieved okay, and I've recieved 2 that I've been sent no problem.... The only thing with it not being a native part of the OS means that when you take a picture with the camera, for example, and you can click the button to give you options to send as email etc, there isn't one to send as MMS. You have to tap Swirly and then look the pic up using thier interface.....

 

ahh ok did you have to phone o2 to get them to "activate" mms on your iphone as im reading that people are having to do this,also is there a fee to pay on swirlyspace?

As for the fee, yeah, thats the downside. Despite it being an "illegal" app and one designed "by enthusiasts for enthusiasts", the charge for it.... But it's $8, which is less than a fiver. You get a 14day fully functional trial, and after that you have to purchase a licence for it to carry on using it...
