I think its got to be worth a drive there to just take a look, take the key with the alarm, altho I am sure they would of D/C the battery to cover that one as they dont have anything to switch it off.

Just have a look around, look through some cracks in the door, if anyone comes out just explain

i think if the OP was that bothered he would have been there by now to have a look. I guess a nice insurance payout is the better option, especially with how hard cars are becoming to sell nowadays.

I would have been there straight away with either bolt croppers or a proper cordless equipped with a 2" hole saw and a torch, really hope you find it.

Yes theres more than 1 way to skin a cat.....I heard a rumour about someone in derbyshire getting his car back for a ransom after it being carjacked; think that reunion came about through the grapevine.

I still wouldn't think twice about going into this lockup if there was a possibility my car was in there.

Its ok sitting there saying "id be down there etc etc" im sure he and his mates have been looking, its a car hidden SOMEWHERE in kent , huge place. And for sure i bet the thief/thiefs have seen this thread with all the google earth maps about where the car is and moved it

I think by now its just a case of waiting for the thiefs to fuck up selling the parts. As for tracker.......................seems very weird how a few cars have gone missing just as the owner has stopped paying. Either way i do hope they caught, get there arms and legs broken so they cant take someone else's pride and joy

we need a PF "hit squad" to take these scum out I think a few bullet holes through the front of the thieves house/flat would make them think twice about nicking fords

If so .. There's enough info for them to work with, if they wanted to take it seriously then they could pull video from cameras on the route the thieves took, I know it's only a car but it could be done!!

Exactly theyve got much better to be doing.

Plus whats the chance of the police actually getting the thiefs?? they often stash things in apparently disused lock ups so it will be hard to prove the lockup owner /renter is to blame enough to secure a conviction.

In the police eyes all that would happen is the stolen car is recovered saving the insurance company money for police expense and time.

Had there been intel while it was on the move they might be interested as they can secure a conviction if the thieves are still with the vehicle. Same with the parts being sold they can at least get people for handling stolen goods.

Sorry but that comment is bang out of order. The original poster has lost his car and it isn't all that easy to confront a gang that are willing to take a car in broad daylight if you don't have a load of guys with you. I know a load of people have offered him support but no offence to anyone here but the world is made up of internet warriors, I'm sure that isn't the case so much on here though because RS owner seem to have more bottle than owners of other marques but if was the original poster I wouldn't know how to take you guys up on that offer if I didn't know you.

I'd want to be down there myself if it was my car and I'd summon up some dodgy mates because I'm not that way inclined but not everyone has those connections.

I really don't think your post is helping this thread at all or serving any useful purpose, sorry if I've read it wrong.

but for thieves these days, being caught by police dont bother them.........what punishment do they get apart from a slap on the wrist, and being told not to do it again?????

they'll be out the next night OR DAY doing it again.....
This country and its police are a joke, and this countrys justice system is the biggest joke of them all.
It gives power to the criminal, misery to the victims and honest decent people!
As above,if the police really wanted to catch these people seeing that they are obviously doing this on a regular basis, they could of had a flick through the local cctv.Yeah, you all say theres lots of vans in that area, but how often do you see a escort cossie being dragged down the road by one?????????????????????

with out a doubt i would be knocking on a few heads that are out and about and in the scene.nothing travels quicker than word of mouth.if theres someone that knows them then someone knows where it is and if those someones's are lent on then it can work out.

i think if a few people were spoke to and accidently fell maybe then some thing would turn up before long.

forget the dogs mate, people nowdays tend not to care about hurting them.heavies, bats, and bars.

a transit,a hesian sack and a trip to the middle of nowhere with some body bags and freshly dug holes tends to work too
