mate im not blaggin u but i saw a blue cos with gold wheels bein towed this morning, i was working on a roof in orpington cant think of the road name, it caught my eye think the front bumper looked a bit smashed , was a white tow truck thing, sorry cant be of any more help. this was prob between 9 n 10

That is two roads away from me. Marlins Park Avenue is a posh back road with speed bumps, not an ideal choice to tow a car on.

I don't think Bish ever followed it up, shame really as i have a friend in the BTP who was going to reopen the case and investigate it with this new info that came up on eBay

Had my first S2 stolen from House of Frazer car park in Lakeside in 1998, and I know the feeling of emptyness you describe. Although maybe not much consolation to you now, but what goes around comes around and whoever nicked the car will get whats coming to them one day.

TN16 3XZ and there is a load of lock ups behind a house with a Garden Full of car parts, Would 100% check that out, right dodgey bastered

PM me your postcode or the road it was taken from, They wont have gone far with it on a harvey frost, main reson being it would look totaly out of place on it (ie the law would stop it instantly) Shiny car hung by chains = stolen Also keep a eye out for any Harvy frosts and follow them, they are quite a rare site, Could a Spec lift lift up a Escort 4x4 ie do they have a center LSD or just a normal one? Again keep a eye on ebay for any transit spec/harvys coming up for sale within 50 miles of you, they tend to get used then sold very quickly

Only 6 miles from you, they could have made that if lucky with a Harvy frost, Get down there, You can drive round the back of the houses, Lockups on right, Google Earth also shows a White transit Harvey frost about 20 yards down the road from what i can make out!

 

Yeh i know how the Wrongun's work, To nick something like that with a harvy frost means they must have been desperate and trying on the off chance of it being there, if it was nicked to order it would have been done properly

 

looks like a possibility on google earth. just need a fibre optic camera to look in all the garages in the area.

benni,as for your question.i would want it back tbh.for various reasons.1. it is MY car,and i have spent alot of time and money on it. 2.why should the little bastards get to make the money out of it.i'd have it back even if i had to break it up after.
