Default siezed clutch? do i remove gearbox?

i believe my clutch is seized on my car, it has a essex v6 and has sat for around 8 years, i got it running but will only go in gear when engines off, if i start it up in gear with clutch pedal down it goes forward. i checked the cable is operating correctly which it is. i dont know howe heavy the pedal is meant to be but i find it really heavy? im hoping theres a way of freeing it up if it is seized without removing the box?

Get it up on a good set of axle stands, so the drive wheels can spin.
Run it up in gear but keep your foot on the clutch pedal at all times
Bop the throttle hard with the clutch down and it will free it up..

Best way(if you can) is to drive it down road high revs dip clutch bang on brakes hard a few times, will soon free off, if not do as said on axle stands.

A more severe method is to raise a wheel up so it spins when the cars going, then drop it suddenly.
(maybe have it on a block attached to a length of string - you in the drivers seat, mate holding rope ready to yank)
The resultant shock to the drivetrain will have the same affect as hitting the breaks.

Obviously dont hold me responsible when the car shoots through a wall or kills someone!
