I've just seen that Mike is stating to sell these :

Has anyone had any experience with anything similar as it looks like a bloody good product, I can think of a few times now we've wrecked rubber from not checking them enough or getting a bit keen and staying on track a bit longer than we should of.

They replace the original valve with a metal one and the sensors are attached to this, so the only downside is that you do have to take your tyres off and refit them to install the sensors .
