Default Changing jobs - ballache!

Twiddled my thumbs for ages and nothing I fancy comes along.

Now I have a final interview on Tuesday which, unless I totally screw up, is a bit of a formality.

Just been invited for a whole day interview assesment with another firm next Thursday.

Should I explain the situation and hope they don't eliminate me as not interested enough or not available on the date they want to do things?

Should I just say I'm coming and then pull out if I get the first job?

If I did that, would it be fair to leave them with costs for flights, hotel, and car hire?

ultimately you got to think of yourself not the company. If theirs a risk youd not get first job or it doesnt appeal then you need to have a back up.

If your certain the first job is 100% yours and 100% right then cancel second interview.

You can always turn up for the second interview anyway and reject a job offer they make if its not better. Plus free flights and night in a hotel!!!

Not knowing what industry you work in also consider if there are repercussions from not attending the interview at short notice. I know some industrys/specialisms are very small communities and your name can be "black listed" by doing the wrong thing.

You don't have to accept the offer of the first job until you've been to the other interview..
