Yeah completely pointless having the static as mine was under and over the drive-by by the same amount so my car got 4 times louder LOL....

As great as that would be it just wouldn't happen due to the fact that it's Feb and lots (inc mine) are moth balled until April 1st....

I like the fact that there's other marques out there for a bit of grudge matches

Lee was flying last year, especially as none of the big power cars were running big power there as far as im aware, as all were on low boost to avoid getting chucked off.

Drive it like you stole it is the expression that comes to mind, lol

I'd like to take Rob's astra to bedford but not sure we could get it through either of the noise tests, will have to look at an external silencer like dingy had, not that it did him much good, lol

Great news, I better pull my finger out and get the Nova finished, it has gained another 8 valves, 200cc and a set of bike carbs since last time.

The price doubles once you get into March/April compared to Feb..... and once you get into the "summer" months it gets to double that again......
We started in 2004 with a cheap day and it's carried on since, my car won't pass noise regs so doesn't bother me that my car isn't on the road in Feb, there are 4/5 others from the Beds group that track their cars and they are availabe in Feb so the issue has never come up in the past having it early in the year.
