Also with specky quite likely to get 1st in both drag and top speed, I think you would need more like a top 3 in all 3 events to beat him, as if its run like the overall scoring, you only get 5 points bonus for finnishing well in all 3 events.
i made the idea up mate.lol.places are allready given for the 3 events,so its only a case of awarding points for the places to give you a fwd winner.hopefully chris will do this for next year.
if not everybody will know who would have been the overall champion, and maybe a sponsor could donate a unofficial trophy.

Fair play for having a go Lloyd but as radical as your going a NA zetec with however much gas you like wont cut it, even Gaz'd is struggling to match the current cars times on the day but the one thing they do have is consistency.

I'll be very interested to see exactly what your turn this into, personally I'd build and run the car in stages rather than just go all out mad with it as nobody in the Ford world has proved that does anything but run 13's

i wish you all the best on this lloyd and i look forward to seeing the end result, but i cant help but think that if it was this simple to do a TOTB winning car by just running a load of gas, wouldn't everyone be doing it?

I think the reason behind why there is not many FWD beasts in the Ford world is most people do not want to throw loads of money at a FWD car when you can buy a Escort cosworth - 3 door etc and get in theory a better all rounder
