Anyone know anything bout tv's
I have a small LCD TV 19" I think my daughter has it in her bedroom, when we switch it on the picture is on for a second then the screen goes blank (Black) and you just get the speach in the background. Any ideas is it an easy fix? or have the kids bin messing with something?

If you can see the image when shining a torch at the screen it is probably the inverter for the LCD.
If you are handy with a soldering iron you can replace the inverter with a universal one off ebay. I did have a tv with a similar problem that was caused by a dodgy capacitor on the power board.
