If you had not bought your escort when you did, and had not spent all of the money on it that you have done!
Do you think you would buy an escort cosworth now????
If not what would you buy??

I bought one new back in '92 then sold it in '95 and promised myself I would have another. Took me 9 years to keep the promise but I wouldn't part with my latest EsCos for any money.

loved the car from the launch when i was 12 at the lauch. 11 years later and 2 years of owning my baby i have no regrets. I would have always bought an escort cosworth coz in my eyes there is nothing out there to beat the looks and appeal. a dream come true
Glad the ex didn't make me sell it as part of me buying her out of the house

Had mine for over 5 years, spent loads on it, but love it but when i sell it i will probley get a noble 400 (M 12 ) or 911 GT2, BUT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE FASTER THAN THE ESCORT, and that is where the problem starts because i would have to spend alot of money to get the same perforamce i have in the escort let alone be quicker, i dont think i would sell the escort to get a evo, skyline, ect it would have to be a bit more special than that.

M.A.D.RST, as Gaaables, said as soon as you drive an EsCos you notice the different.
Higher quality of car and more pleasing to drive than the turbos
Doors don't try to pull open at the top at 100mph +

Considered selling mine recently as buying a house - - - - - NOT!!!
Even with the headaches she sometimes gives me i wouldn't sell her for anything. Recently considered a skyline but then two identical white ones showed up at one of the cruises i was at. There was only one Esc Cos there - mine!

If I did not buy an Escort Cosworth I would buy Subaru Impreza GT'99 and tweak it a little for my needs. Probably more sensible idea, but I live to drive an Escos when it is able to drive without something to tow it :-/

only had mine about 3 weeks.
Got all the mods i wanted on it,big turbo, injec, wheels, brakes etc....
Got it cheap of a mate who was unsure about selling, once i got paid out on the saff after an accident,i waved the money.
Well worth the money i paid.
Did have my heart set on a escort though after having 3 saffs and i finally got one.
No other car has really tempted me,except for an evo or a new scooby sti.
these cars are not special enough though to me and i am a ford man through and through.
Dave.

I'm in 2 minds as next year i'm after a new car I've always wanted a Escort Cossie, but as they are getting older now and the prices seem to be high still.
Is it worth going for a Subaru Type R version 6 as even as std they are quick and newer but i dunno what to do

i've had mine now for nearly 2 years and i love it, there is no other car on the road today that has as much presence for the money you pay for them. Mine stands me a fortune since i bought it and i could have bought a nearly new M3 or something but these cars are special and once you own one, you will never look back

Nope. Both that are here in Poland are worth shit, just pieces of junk. But friend of mine drove both of them, one fresh after buing converted to LHD by Prodrive and says it's much much better then normal Impreza GT. He's kind of guru on Subarus here so he knows what he's talking.
I would be happy to drive one that is not blown, and crashed few hundred times...

Had mine just over the year now, and even though I've got a long drive to work and the choice to take a more economical diesel, I just can't help pick up the keys to the cossie. I haven't spent too much on mine, but I have yet to start doing engine mods Love it

I'd love an Imperial or Pacifica Blue Esc Cos but I don't think I'm EVER going to be able to afford one, might have to go for a rep or something in a few years

Depends on spec of both And there are lot more differences. People form Subaru Driving School (www.sjs.pl) say mine is much more fun to drive
