I've got 3 squeezebox classics in my house, but now they have released a new version with built in speakers that looks to be the best yet.
Basically, the Squeezebox connects wirelessly to your pc or laptop via your wireless modem and will play the music off it. It has a brilliant screen and user interface making searching by artist, album or whatever really simple. You can make a playlist and have them in synchronised to all play the same thing at EAXCTLY the same time, which is brilliant for parties.
Highly recommended gadget

Ive got the Streamium which is pretty good imho and features a very wide range of products in the range, they all have big hard disks, self ripp cd's, support Ipod's, stream internet radio, and stream media on your PC. It displays Album Art also. They look good as well

Ł199 - sod that for a laugh!
Brilliant idea but not til they come down in price.
For the time being I'll just turn the volume up so I can hear it all around the house - or simply plug the MP3 player into an aux port in my stereo.
