anywhere on the net to get a good/heavy duty battery for my car.........i've priced one locally at £38..............

I cant remember all that well. But im sure I got my battery for about £40 from Ford. Normall ford (black)or motorcraft(White).

I think Halfords batteries are good,made by Yuasa and have 3 or 4 year warranty,depending on normal or calcium model.

just had a look and the one i've got is a Banner "starting bull" (heavy duty) and it's been shite had it about 2 year and i'm sick of charging the fucker up........going to change the red alternator lead aswell cos the battery light is always slightly on (yes i've reconed the alternator)....

get one from ford for 50-60, still wont have a problem as there decent, plus 20 less than the halfords ones

Mate got a halfords one for silly money, but every year or two takes it back for a new one as car hasn't run for years.
Works out good value; eventually
I always use bosch silver from gsf.

My engine is still hanging above me corrado bonnet.....lol

Its been there for about 5 month now.....

Just keep popping down now and again to make sure its still hanging.....lol

But on a better note i had shit with my battery so got one from halfords and its never flickered.....if you go to price one ill give you my trade card number and you will get a big discount....

It changes on different things but i got a rotor arm for cossie was supposed to be £3.45 i got it for 78p and some plugs that were about £8 odd and i got them for £3 odd... ill pm ya me number later and ring them tomorrow and ask for price and tell them you got a trade card and the number....

The Halfords ones are shit hot mate got one on my car, if you know someone with a trade card for halfords they are about between 40 and 50 quid for the heavy duty with 4 year warranty!
