Default Advice needed

Driving along the a406 north circular today and i hit something in the road some sort of wood looked like a log of some sort anyways caused major damage. Bent the rim and tyre burst also wheel has gone into the arch slightly question is can this claimed from my insurance or is it something that i have to payout of my own pocket many thanks

Ł150 is excess but so far already paid out Ł165 for new tyre which was fitted on roadside and looks like im gonna need to spend another few hundred

yes mate have got ncb but will insurance reinburse for what i have already paid out for tyre

Sorry can't help but what is it about north circular last week i hid loads of wood nr Edmonton and today a car swerved in front of me avoiding what looked like some sort of big black plastic bin/trunk nr wembley Do you southerners use it as a tip

thanks for the help might just pay this one out of my own pocket didnt even see the thing coming car in front swerved out of the way leaving me with the damage gutted only bought car last week really gutted thanks again

just out of interest were were you? Know what you mean i was in truck when i saw car swerve and did same didnt think much of it being in truck but it did scratch bumper to shit not the same i know you must be gutted.

Providing you have a vat receipt for the new tyre which can be presented to the insurance company, then it will be reimbursed.

The repair engineer will add it into the estimate @ the appropriate cost and then issue a cheque separately once the claim is authorised.
