Had a bit of a incident at the weekend involving my phone. At a work colleagues house party with the missus. He was panicking as he thought we disappeared to his room for a quicky.....which sadly we didn't Anyway, another mate told us so we set a condom up in his room with shower gel to look like we had.

In the process my phone fell out my pocket and got left in his room which i didn't realise till i was home. In his pissed angry state thinking the condom was real he then inserted the phone inside and proceeded down staired, submerged the phone/condom in a tub full of water and then froze it.

Got the phone out in the morning and its fooked. Lost everything I'm not insured either so got to buy a new phone. Explained to whole thing and haven't even got a sorry out of him. Should i make him pay or let it go down in history as a little story of life? Thing is i have to work with the muppet as well.

So to all i know sorry i ain't called but only just got my numbers back. This even caused me to missed to local RS meet as i was sorting it all out with orange.

If you were to play a practicle Joke on him you have to prepare to take the circumstances! That means checking you have not left anything behind...which can be used as Ammo....like a mobile for example...

Sure you cant dry it off, My mate who's a butcher dropped his 6100 in a tub of fat at work, dried it on radiator and it worked fine ever since!!

Numbers were stored on the phone not the sim. Have dried it out and sort of works except the screen, leds, speaker and mircophone. So cribbed a screen of my mates to recover the info i could.

Thanks for the offer of the phone jon, but just won a new 6610 on Ebay.

Forgot to mention, the thing that really pissed him off was the fact that i hung the condom on the volume knob of his Hi-Fi.

As has been said mate I'd simply chalk it up to experience and laugh it off. It was a practical joke that backfired.
