need a good popup blocker
downloaded something from limewire but it was virused and loads of pages keeps opening now and for some unknown reason my firefox wont open facebook cos of it but IE does.
any good free popup blockers

fix the cause, then you wont need one

oh and some advice ALWAYS ALWAYS virsu scan EVERY file you down load, no matter what it is or where it came from

update and do a full scan, delete anything it finds.
Then what anti virus you running?
Little tip if you use limewire, only download mp3's, nothing else as most of the films/programmes will be a virus, also a good way of telling is the fact the file size doesnt match what your downloading, i.e if your trying to download a film and the file size is the same as a picture, somethings not right get it

My son has been using limewire to download mp3s and the amount of virus's Norton has found because of it is ridiculous. suffice to say I uninstalled it for him.

Google doctor web cure it its free download and run a scan and delete what it finds..
google superantispyware and download the free version and run a scan with this as well, dont bother with ad adware, spybot etc as they are shit.
