Default removing double sided tape

Any household products that will remove the left over sticky stuff after taking number plate off?

Put new legal plate on, it looks pants and ive now got a horrible sticky black strip on the bumper where it was beforehand

Get a hairdryer out warm it up and either pick at it with your fingers or use a card of some sort of squeegee to remove. Take off any remaining residue with some tar remover.

Yeah, wd40 takes off sticky residue, the oil based residue would be diluted and wiped away by it.
