As I said to you's lot on the phone !! It can happen to anyone, but main thing is that you are both okay & seemed in quite high spirits !!

Feel so sorry for Jim, as I know he loved the car, feel worse for Paul as I know how much he loved his car !!

it is a risk driving someone elses car, i had the same happen to me with my cossie, the parts damaged where repalced

why not get a loan for say 5k? buy the car off jim

break it

and pay off some the debt, then just be left with a small debt????
