sadly it was me, i feel soo soo bad, was going well, i came out the hair pin and the arse cam out in the wet, counter steered then tank slapped and span into wet grass which was ice and hit at about 80-90mph

As I said to you's lot on the phone !! It can happen to anyone, but main thing is that you are both okay & seemed in quite high spirits !! 
Feel so sorry for Jim, as I know he loved the car, feel worse for Paul as I know how much he loved his car !!
But your both doin the decent, respectible & honourable thing so if you's lot need any help what so ever give us a shout !!

why not get a loan for say 5k? buy the car off jim

and pay off some the debt, then just be left with a small debt????

well, i think the passengerside wing is a bit hurt too mate
gladly no injurys
i lost it myself a few times on exactly the same section so know how easy it was, unfortunately paul didnt manage to catch it, just one of those things
so, now on the lookout for a decent M3 to replace her with
or maybe time for a change? suggestions that have some up are a 200SX or an S4, what do people think?
oh and if anyone's after bits off the car, PM rst_in_progress
